We all need to express ourselves as people and we find different ways to do that. If you strip all that away all your left with is the Mind. if you take all the Psychical attributes mannerisms etc away. What do you have left. you till have the Mind. So essentially its all left to the mind to keep something alive or Living. Its not hope that we are talking about its about keeping something alive in the deepest recesses of your mind. This is the life of those in the Closet. Thats where it starts and ends.
